Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes the cancellation, refund, billing, and payment terms applicable to paid IOBend subscription plans and other commercial subscriptions offered by IOBend Technologies Private Limited.
Commercial Billing Baseline
IOBend provides a free Hobby tier where available so that developers and organizations can evaluate platform workflows and developer tooling before purchasing a paid subscription.
Unless otherwise stated in an applicable Order Form or Enterprise Agreement, fees paid for recurring IOBend subscriptions are generally non-refundable for partially used billing periods. Cancellation prevents future billing renewals and maintains paid feature access through the end of the prepaid period.

1.Subscription Cancellation
Customers may cancel a recurring IOBend subscription through the billing functionality made available in the IOBend Web console, where supported, or by submitting written notice to the billing contact provided by IOBend (billing@iobend.com).
Unless otherwise stated in an applicable Order Form or Enterprise Agreement, cancellation of a recurring subscription will take effect at the end of the customer's then-current prepaid billing period. For example, cancelling a monthly subscription generally prevents the next monthly renewal, while cancelling an annual subscription generally prevents the next annual renewal.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing:
- Cancellation does not result in a prorated refund for the unused portion of the current billing period;
- Access to paid-plan features, increased workspace capacities, and elevated project quotas generally continues until the end of the applicable prepaid billing period; and
- After the paid subscription period concludes, the account may be transitioned to an available free plan, such as the Hobby plan, subject to the limits, capacities, and functionality applicable to that plan.
Customers are responsible for exporting or otherwise retaining any Customer Data, configurations, or repository artifacts that they are entitled to retain before the end of the applicable subscription period.
2.Refund Eligibility
IOBend provides a free Hobby tier where available so that users can evaluate applicable developer workflows and platform functionality before purchasing a paid subscription.
Unless otherwise stated in an applicable Order Form, Enterprise Agreement, or required by mandatory provisions of applicable law, fees paid for IOBend subscriptions are generally non-refundable and non-creditable for partially used billing periods. This policy does not limit any non-waivable statutory rights or remedies available under applicable law.
2.1 Billing Errors
If you believe that you have been incorrectly charged, charged more than once, or charged for a subscription that you did not authorize, please contact IOBend billing support (billing@iobend.com) as soon as reasonably practicable and, where possible, within thirty (30) days of the relevant transaction.
IOBend may review the relevant billing records and, where an error attributable to IOBend or its billing process is confirmed, may correct the charge, issue an appropriate credit, or provide a refund as applicable.
2.2 Unauthorized Transactions
If you believe a transaction was unauthorized, please contact IOBend promptly and provide sufficient transaction identifiers, dates, and account details for the transaction to be investigated.
IOBend may request additional verifying information reasonably necessary to investigate the claim and cooperate with authorized payment processors.
3.Billing and Subscription Renewal
Paid subscriptions may renew automatically at the applicable renewal interval (monthly or annually) unless cancelled before the applicable renewal date.
The applicable subscription price, billing frequency, taxes, and other commercial terms will be presented during purchase or specified in the applicable Order Form or Enterprise Agreement.
Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information and ensuring that authorized payment methods remain valid. If a payment cannot be successfully processed, IOBend may provide an opportunity to update the payment method or otherwise resolve the outstanding amount.
Subject to applicable law and the applicable contractual terms, IOBend may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to paid services for material non-payment or repeated payment failures.
4.Taxes & GST Compliance
Fees and prices displayed on the IOBend website or Pricing Page are exclusive of applicable taxes unless expressly stated otherwise.
For customers in India, applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other statutory levies will be charged in accordance with prevailing legal rates. Where required and supported by IOBend's billing systems, applicable tax invoices will be issued using the billing and tax information provided by the customer.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing details, including corporate legal entity names, registered billing addresses, and applicable GST registration numbers (GSTIN) where business input tax credits are sought.
IOBend does not provide tax or accounting advice. Customers should consult independent qualified tax advisors regarding their own tax obligations and input tax credit claims.
5.Downgrades and Plan Changes
Where plan changes are supported in the console, customers may upgrade or downgrade their subscription tier subject to applicable plan limits and commercial terms.
A plan downgrade may result in reduced quotas, features, storage allocations, workspace capacity, project capacity, member capacity, or other administrative functionality.
Before initiating a downgrade, customers are responsible for ensuring that their Organization, Workspaces, Projects, and active Developer Environments comply with the capacity limits of the destination plan. Where a requested downgrade would result in existing resources exceeding destination limits, IOBend may require the customer to delete, unlink, or archive excess resources before the downgrade takes effect.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in an applicable agreement, changing plans or downgrading does not create an entitlement to a prorated refund for previously paid subscription periods.
6.Enterprise and Custom Commercial Terms
Customers purchasing IOBend under a negotiated Master Subscription Agreement, Enterprise Agreement, Order Form, or other written commercial contract may be subject to customized billing intervals, purchase order processes, net payment terms, early termination provisions, and refund schedules.
Where an executed commercial agreement contains terms that conflict with this public Refund & Cancellation Policy, the applicable executed agreement will govern and control to the extent of the conflict.
7.Free Plans and Feature Availability
IOBend may provide free, trial, or preview functionality from time to time, including the Hobby tier. Free plans and promotional offerings may have specific capacity quotas, feature boundaries, eligibility requirements, expiration periods, or usage restrictions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a binding written agreement, free tiers and preview features do not create a perpetual contractual right to the continued availability of any particular feature, capacity quota, or support level. IOBend reserves the right to modify or discontinue free features with reasonable notice where practicable.
8.Promotional Credits and Trial Offers
Promotional credits, discounts, free trial periods, or other commercial incentives may be subject to specific additional terms communicated at the time they are granted.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional credits and discounts:
- Have no independent cash value;
- Are non-transferable between accounts or organizations;
- Cannot be exchanged for cash, wire transfers, or monetary refunds; and
- Do not create an entitlement to a refund or retroactive credit for fees previously paid.
Any special promotional terms communicated in writing will control where they expressly differ from this general policy.
9.Account Closure and Billing
Cancellation of a paid subscription does not automatically result in immediate deletion of the customer's underlying IOBend user account or organization records.
Data retention, account deletion, and data export following account closure or subscription termination are governed by the IOBend Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, applicable Data Processing Addendum, and any executed enterprise agreement.
Customers should review those policies and export any required configurations, project telemetry, or Customer Data prior to requesting formal account termination.
